5:30 am - 7:30 am
6:00 am - 8:00 am
After waking up in the High School, a tent or a hotel; you will pack up, take one of the shuttles back to Proctor High School, if necessary, and drop off your bags with the team truck volunteers. (NOT BEFORE 6:00AM)
Be sure you have what you need out of your bag before you drop it off:
If you want breakfast, the MS Society serves pancakes and sausage in the high school cafeteria free, starting at 5:45am, help yourself.
If you don't want to eat right away in the morning wait and get a snack at the first rest stop.
When you are ready to ride (NOT BEFORE 6:30AM), go back to the bike trucks, grab your bike and get out on the route. Enjoy the beautiful Willard Munger trail. Be Safe! Follow the rules of the ride.
Afternoon ???
Willow River Lunch Stop, 2 options + regular rest-stop fare.
11:00 am - 5:00 pm in Hinckley
When you arrive at the finish in Hinckley, SLOW DOWN! Do not speed up and fly through the finish, in past years we have had sharp turns and people walking across the route and accidents have occurred; Safety First! Look for the Cargill Banners, near Penske Trucks, that is where you will ride too and store your bike for the night. At the last rest stop, check the WhatsApp CBC Group for any last minute directions AND to let the group know you are leaving the last rest-stop.
After you drop off your bike at the team truck and get your towel to wipe off, head to our team tent. At the team tent we will have your gear, bags and tents, etc.
At the team tent we will have a taco bar, beverages, snacks, desserts, and games for you to enjoy.
11:00 am - 1:00 pm
We will have some light snacks and beverages for those early-in riders, feel free to shower and change and relax while the rest of the team arrives.
1:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Taco Bar! Dinner is served, carb-up and enjoy.
5:45 pm
Meet at the Cargill tent so we can walk over for our team photo. Please wear your team shirt (Maroon & White) not your jersey.
6:00 pm
Team Photo, we will all walk over together.
6:15 pm -->
After the team photo everyone is encouraged to return to our team tent for some quick announcements/recognition and partake in the Dessert Bar. The rest of the evening, hang out at the team tent, relax and play some games, if you still have the energy. You can walk around and visit other teams, my guess is most of you will know other people from other teams riding in the event.
